Tashkurgan Grassland

Tashkurgan Grassland, also known as the Golden Grassland is located next to Stone City in Tashkurgan. Here you will have time to take a walk through the Tashkorgan grasslands. During the walk you will encounter local Tajik people, herds of grazing animals, and you may also visit Tajiks traditional yurt houses. There will be adequate opportunities to take photos of traditional life on the Pamir Plateau and of the beautiful scenery surrounding the Pamir mountains.

In recent years, wooden pathways have been built to allow tourists to walk around the grassland. Walking on the wooden pathways allows for the best view of the high standing ruins of Stone City.
